About Waxcap
Waxcap is a Mac app for writing a novel, a little every day. Writers set a daily word target, 500 words by default, and Waxcap keeps count as they write. Streaks, rest days and a record of each week and month help them keep the habit going. The editor is simple, with typewriter scrolling and focus modes for when they want fewer distractions. Notes, research and cut scenes sit alongside the manuscript, and chapters and notes are saved as plain markdown files that can be opened in any text editor. Waxcap will be free to download from the Mac App Store, with a 14-day trial and then a single purchase of £19.99.
